1/4: How I started (my first sale)
I started my online business in 2018.
I had just quit the NSW Police Force and got accepted into University for Primary Teaching.
Times were tough. I was a broke, mature age University student, living on Government assistance and being heavily supported by my girlfriend and family.
Out of desperation I Googled "How to make money online" & went down the rabbit hole. I was fascinated by all these people making a great income online.
I saw an ad from Sam Ovens and bought his course.
I went all in and took massive action. I signed my first client (a chiropractor) in my local town to help with their digital marketing. I had no idea what I was doing, but I believed in myself to figure it out... and I did.
However, as I went, I realised I didn't enjoy selling services - it just felt like I had another boss.
So I pivoted.... 👇
2/4: My First 7-Figures Online...
I continued looking for ways to make money online - without feeling like I had another boss / another job.
I stumbled across eCommerce, which sounded like a great option. So I purchased a few different coaching programs, took massive action & launched my store.
I made my first sale & then I was off. I scaled my store to $10K/month, then $30K/month, then $100K/month and beyond. My best month was a little over $250,000.
I ended up scaling this store to multiple 7-figures.
The crazy part? It was just me + a friend (who handled customer support) & I was only working 5hrs per week!
Needless to say, my life completely changed.
The biggest change was the mental unlock of what's possible. It's like when Neo exited the "Matrix" - his idea of what's possible changed forever. You can't unsee it.
I got lots of recognition. I became the head coach in Alex Fedotoff's eCommerce coaching program and I was also coaching many of my own private clients. Collectively, I coached hundreds of people.

3/4: My Pivot to Coaching...
While eCommerce was great, it had its problems - low profit margins, operational complexity (shipping & delivery) & selling low-priced products ($30-$100).
One of the biggest issues, was that while I was making money, I didn't care about the product or customers. It was just about making as many sales as possible.
This was a deal breaker for me. Personally, I need to feel passionate about what I'm doing and who I'm helping.
However, I DEEPLY CARED about coaching - working with people and helping them get results - I loved it!
(The relationship / power dynamic between clients for services and clients for coaching is VERY different).
Not only that, but I also realised that selling coaching is WAY more simple, profitable, lifestyle friendly and fun.
I think selling coaching is 100% the BEST business.

4/4: My Lifestyle Coaching Biz...
I started my business for freedom. I just want a simple business that makes a great income and helps people.
When I started my coaching business, I focused on booking sales calls and signing clients (because that's what everyone else does).
However, I quickly realised that sales calls SUCKKK.
Wasting time with people who aren't clients or book calls & don't show is NOT lifestyle friendly. And I vomit at the thought of hiring a team of sales reps. YUCK.
If there's one lesson ecommerce taught me (from $250K+/month in 5hrs per week) is making sales does not require sales calls, complex systems or big teams.
So I took the ruthless simplicity I had with eCommerce and applied to my coaching business. I designed the business to suit ME. Now I sign $500 - $5,000+ clients without sales calls, complex funnels or big teams.
I've designed a business that suits my lifestyle. Achieving what I call the "3P's" - Profit, Peace & Purpose. A great income + lifestyle friendly + doing something you love.
That's my story.
There were plenty of ups and downs. I didn't include everything because I didn't want this to go forever.
I still don't have everything figured out. But I'm focused on building a simple business that suits my lifestyle.
I've realised the "3P's" (Profit, Peace & Purpose) are incredibly important and really guide my decisions.
